ONSITE INFORMATION
The LVCC is a fully ADA compliant venue. There are handicap parking spots available, as well as ramps and automatic doors throughout the convention center. TDDs: TDDs (Telecommunications Device for the Deaf) are permanently installed at various locations throughout the facilities, and directional signs are posted at every bank of pay phones. The LVCC also offers additional services such as: Auxiliary Aids, Assistive Listening Systems, Portable Wheelchair Lifts, and Wheelchair Accessible Lecterns.

There is an ADA Accessibility map available both on the convention center website, as well as in person at the Visitor Information Center plus the Security Offices.

No child 17 years of age or younger will be permitted on the Show floor regardless of affiliation or circumstances. School-sponsored groups that have the prior consent of National Mining Association are excluded. Child care is not available at the Las Vegas Convention Center. This policy was published on the registration forms, on the MINExpo website, and in the letter confirming attendee/exhibitor registration.
Badges must be worn at all times. Sharing badges is strictly prohibited. Anyone caught sharing a badge will have their badges confiscated, without refund of any monies paid, will be ejected from the Las Vegas Convention Center for the balance of MINExpo 2024 with the possibility of not being allowed to attend future MINExpo events.
Badges will not be mailed. A photo I.D. along with your registration confirmation will be required to pick-up your badge.

FedEx Office has four permanent locations for coat/luggage check. The first is at the entrance to the LVCC and the second location is in the satellite business center across from C4 in the Grand Concourse the third is in the Lobby of the South Building, and the fourth is located in the atrium concourse of west hall, across from W2. There is a charge of $5 per item to check coats/luggage, etc. per day.

Tuesday, September 24 & Wednesday September 25: All 4 locations will be open 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Thursday, September 26: All 4 locations will be open 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. (if there are shipping lines after 6 p.m., they will stay open until lines are done.)
Friday, September 27 – Sunday September 29: Main location in the Grand Lobby will be open 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Assistance is available in both the main registration areas in West Hall as well as in the International Trade Center (ITC) in W208-W212. Languages include: Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Russian, and Spanish.

Lost articles may be claimed and turned into the MINExpo security rooms. At the end of each show day, items will be taken to the LVCC security office in the Grand Concourse, across from Central Hall 3.

Mother’s Suites (lactation stations) are available for the privacy and convenience of working mothers at MINExpo. Each Mamava suite contains a deadbolt lock for privacy, a power outlet, a fold down table and two benches. Find Mother’s Suites at these locations:

Outside food and drinks will not be permitted in the convention center. We do encourage re-usable water bottles to take advantage of the refill stations located throughout the center. Small snacks or items required for medical, religious, or specific dietary reasons will be allowed.
Due to ongoing construction, parking will be extremely limited on and around the convention center. On-site parking, if available, is $15 per day, per space, with in and out privileges. Cash or credit cards are accepted. Anyone leaving the property and planning to return the same day can show their paid parking receipt for reentry. Reentry is subject to availability. Overnight parking is not permitted.
New this year, we will have several Partner Pavilions located throughout the show floor. Our Media Partner Pavilion will be located in Hall N4, and our State Mining Association and University Pavilion will be located in Hall C1. Additionally, there will be two NMA Partner Pavilions located in West Hall, one in Hall W2 and one in Hall W3.
Personal mobility devices (with or without motors) are not permitted at any MINExpo venue. This includes hoverboards, skateboards, uniwheels, and all similar products.
Segways will be permitted for ADA use only.
Pets will not be allowed at MINExpo. Service animals, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), are always welcome. Please note that under the ADA, comfort, therapy, and/or emotional support animals do not qualify as service animals.
Photography and videotaping of exhibitor booths are not allowed without the permission of the exhibitor or show management. Persons violating this rule may be removed from the show floor and their film and camera will be confiscated. Exhibitors, registered press and production company representatives will be videotaping the show
and individual exhibits in compliance with the MINExpo videotaping policy. Exhibitor, press and production companies videotaping at the show must be in compliance with the show’s videotaping policy.
- Video Taping Policy
All forms of videotaping, audio or visual recording and broadcasting, regardless of the medium must be approved by NMA.
- Exhibitors who intend to do any videotaping within their exhibit space must have completed the MINExpo Exhibitor Taping Form and submitted it to Show Management prior to the show.
Camera Permits for Exhibitors may be picked up at the Show Office, Room N251.
Camera Permits for Press and Production Companies will be issued at the Press Office, Room N245.
Media or production companies that intend to do any videotaping on the premises of the MINExpo Show (the exhibit floor, meeting rooms and/or hallways assigned to the Show) must be registered and be accredited as a press registrant. Forms were due prior to the show.
Rolling bags will not be allowed on the show floor as they pose a safety concern. See Bag Check for more info.
For security purposes, all personal items brought into the Las Vegas Convention Center are subject to search and/or inspection, at the discretion of show security and Show Management.
No Smoking Policy – There is no smoking within the LVCC building, within 25 feet of any entrance. Electronic cigarettes, electronic vaping devices, personal vaporizers, etc. are not permitted within the facility.
MINExpo 2024 has an “anti-suitcasing” policy, prohibiting non-exhibiting companies from soliciting attendees in the aisles or other public spaces of the Las Vegas Convention Center and/or hosting any events or functions within the Las Vegas Convention Center or at any MINExpo 2024 host hotels. Attendees and/or companies in violation of “suitcasing” and outboarding policies will their badges confiscated, without refund of any monies paid, will be ejected from the Las Vegas Convention Center for the balance of MINExpo 2024 with the possibility of not being allowed to attend future MINExpo events. This policy will be strictly enforced.
Exhibitor Information
To Request Information From Minexpo Exhibitors
Each registrant receives a registration badge electronically encoded with information such as attendee’s name, title, company, etc. To request information, the registrant may present their badge (bar code on front of badge) to exhibitors for scanning into the exhibitor’s lead retrieval system.
To Receive Professional Development Hours
Registrants receive professional development hours for attending the MINExpo sessions (see Conference Schedule – complete listing of the sessions). To receive a certificate for each session attended, the registrant should be sure to scan their badge into the lead retrieval system located outside of Room 219. Certificates will be sent by email two weeks after the show.

MINExpo INTERNATIONAL 2024 offers an on-line Matchmaker Program that helps attendees find the exhibitors with the products and services of interest to them. As part of the registration process, attendees check off the
products and services that are of interest to them. A few weeks prior to the show, they received an email with the list of exhibitors that matched the products and services they checked when they registered.

The next MINExpo will be held Sept. 24-26, 2024 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, 3150 Paradise Road, Las Vegas, NV, 89109. The Convention Center is conveniently located near numerous hotels and accessible via a variety of transportation options.

We have received word that third parties have started contacting exhibitors, potential exhibitors and attendees, offering discounts on registration and hotels, and suggesting they have attendee, exhibitor and NMA Member lists available for purchase. Please be advised that these offers are scams. Entering into financial agreements with these companies can have costly consequences.
